The Northwest Cup is an annual "Mosconi Cup Style” competition in which the participants play matches of both singles and scotch doubles in the game of 9-ball. It is a 2-day contest, which usually takes place on a Saturday and Sunday in the month of November. The 2025 Northwest Cup is scheduled for November 8-9, 2025. The Northwest Cup showcases the best pool players from the states of Oregon and Washington while providing a fun, spectator-friendly atmosphere for the patrons and an intense, pressure-packed experience for the participants. This is accomplished with the utmost respect and sportsmanship, with an eye towards elevating the status of the game of pool in the Northwest and around the world. Each team consists of five members, whose total Fargo rating shall not exceed 3300. Each team shall have as a member at least one woman. All player candidates shall have demonstrated a track record of behavior and attitude consistent with the mission statement of the Northwest Cup.

In 2021, 2023, 2024, and again in 2025, Allison Fisher and Ra Hanna will provide commentary for the live stream broadcast shown live and recorded for future viewing on The Wire Creative Media.
